The past 20 years has proven the music industry must look at our environment, analyse how external factors could affect us, and embrace change.

Tom Hajdu, co-founder of music production company tomandandy and startup incubator Disrupter, will give insight on what those factors would be. Tom now lives in South Australia and is Chief Innovator for South Australia, Professor and Director of the Sia Furler Institute, and Chair of Creative Technologies at the University of Adelaide.

In this session, he will look more broadly at how technologies will disrupt the economy in general and why adopting collaboration and innovation is so vital to the continued success and evolution of the music industry.
