Crowbar is Brisbane’s Home of the Heavy. This live music venue has showcased some of the best international, national and local heavy metal, punk and rock’n’roll bands since 2012. This community focused venue has hosted over 3,000 bands from local emerging artists to big name bands like Violent Soho, The Bronx, High On Fire, The Smith Street Band, Frenzal Rhomb and many more.

Celebrating 5 years of existence Crowbar has continued to expand and diversify the business from a basement dive bar into a multi-level live entertainment venue. In 2015 street level social bar, Crowbar Black, was opened and has since hosted a multitude of group art exhibitions, screenings, forums, garage sales, pop-up shops and live music events to vast congregations.
