Make something new at BIGSOUND

Opportunity for BIGSOUND attendees and the public alike to gain an insight into Ableton Live’s unique workflow, particularly from a live performance perspective, via hands on mentoring sessions in an intimate environment.

A variety of workshop flavours will be available catering to a range of musical tastes and production proficiency levels. A number of instruments and controllers will be available.

Leroy Amphlett will guide those with little to no computer based production experience through the basics of Ableton Live e.g. importing samples and creating beats, all in the box.

Tristan Malloch will illustrate Ableton Live’s unique advantages from a songwriter/live performer’s perspective e.g. warping, using session view for arrangement experimentation.
