Mary Ramos is best known as Quentin Tarantino’s Music Supervisor. For good reason, too. No one does music in film quite like Tarantino. But her career extends beyond her work with that one director and this conversation will examine her professional life from all angles.
In conversation with triple j’s Zan Rowe, Ramos will discuss the role of music in storytelling on screen and how film can bring new life to old songs, as well as get into some of the nitty-gritty about the Music Supervision process and the key to a successful collaboration with film directors.
