‘Safe Spaces’ isn’t a buzzword. It’s the future of our industry. Whether you know it or not, people are being negatively impacted by violence, sexual assault, intoxication, and general antisocial behaviour that is too often ignored. What do we need to do to ensure that everyone feels safe at our shows, in our venues, in our scenes? What unwitting processes and behaviours are we exhibiting that are making our concerts and events feel unsafe to our beloved fans?
