Bec Sandridge has a guitar swagger reminiscent of St. Vincent, and the delivery of new wave icons like Deborah Harry and David Byrne. It was a bet by Bec’s family that started her singing. As a guitarist in a folk band, the absence of the singer and an opportunity to support Andy Bull and Owls Eyes, saw Bec take the plunge to bring her voice on to the stage. She has busked her way through Europe, lived in Glasgow, won triple j Unearthed, played Yours & Owls Festival, Groovin' The Moo and toured with The Rubens, Naked And Famous and Highasakite.
