Ric Leichtung runs the events arm of AdHoc, a monthly print publication which also happens to be one of the largest independent concert promoters in New York. He has been named one of the city's most influential people by Brooklyn Magazine and is known for throwing shows in non-traditional spaces like churches, abandoned warehouses, car washes, and Chinese buffets among others. He curated the legendary DIY space 285 Kent, co-launched Baby's All Right, and served as a talent buyer and marketer for Webster Hall. In his spare time he likes to help stray street cats find warm homes, which lead the Village Voice to call him the Best Promoter of Concerts and Cats of 2016.
