Matty kicked off his career in the music industry in 2002 slinging road cases for The Beautiful Girls and made his way into tour management for bands such as Angus & Julia Stone, The Fumes & The Cat Empire. In 2009 he planted his feet in Sydney and formed Matty Woo Management, looking after The Beautiful Girls, Kid Mac, Ash Grunwald and Dune Rats.

In 2017, Matty Woo joined forces with Macro Music (Ceres, Dead Letter Circus, Dune Rats, Grey Ghost, Kid Mac, Mookhi, Seth Sentry, The Gooch Palms & Xavier Rudd), and he's also the Director and Label Manager of Ratbag Records which houses Skegss, Pandamic, Molly and Rat Boy.
