In late 2012, Jeff Owens founded the Los Angeles (initially based in Brooklyn until 2014) based independent label called Felte. The roster includes acts such as Gold Class, PVT, Nite Fields, Odonis Odonis, Public Memory and Sextile. He’s also the label director for Ghostly International and its sister sublabel, Spectral Sound. He’s been with the company since 2003, working on campaigns for artists such as Tycho, Kllo, School of Seven Bells, Matthew Dear and Gold Panda.
