Samuel Bright is a filmmaker and founder of CLIPPED Music Video Festival, which has run as part of Vivid Sydney for the past 2 years.

After graduating UWS in 2007 with an audiovisual art degree (Electronic Arts), Samuel worked at award winning film production companies, whilst directing documentaries, concerts and music videos.

CLIPPED was developed to celebrate the art-form of music videos and provide showcase opportunities for artists. 2017 saw American director Warren Fu (The Strokes, Daft Punk) attend as headline speaker. Since inception, CLIPPED has partnered with ABC Rage, ACMI, Adobe, Audio Technica, Canon, CrowdDJ, FBi Radio, MTV Australia and Rode Microphones.
