Heather Shannon is best known as one quarter of internationally renowned independent rock band, The Jezabels. Shannon has spent most the past decade writing and recording award winning albums and performing in venues such as Sydney Opera House, O2 Arena (London), Webster Hall (New York) and at festivals such as Lollapalooza (Chicago), and Glastonbury (UK).

Heather's other composition experiences include recording her orchestral piece ‘Sequence and Variation’ with The Metropolitan Orchestra, and conductor Sarah-Grace Williams, at the ABC centre last year, participating in the Nes Artist Residency in Iceland and scoring independent Australian film, 'Broke', directed by Heath Davis.
