Emily launched Deathproof with Shock Records colleague Bec Reato in 2011. Beginning as a partnership specialising in heavy music publicity, Deathproof has since grown to become a five-person agency covering PR, marketing, events, design, social media and little blog called 'Blerg'. Emily currently serves as Director of Publicity and Creative for Deathproof, navigating partnerships and projects with like-minded bands and brands.
