Michelle started work in the music business as a freelance publicist before joining with Andrew Walker to form Buxton Walker Pty Ltd. The pair have managed The Black Sorrows, Colin Hay, Men at Work and Stephen Cummings. In 2000 Buxton Walker joined with Spiegeltent International to create The Garden of Unearthly Delights Adelaide - Australia's biggest independent performing arts festival.

In 2009 Buxton Walker and Laughing Stock Productions set up Buxstock Comedy Management. Buxstock represents some of Australia's best, award winning performers including Sammy J & Randy, Felicity Ward, Heath Franklin's Chopper, Harley Breen, David Quirk and more.
