An early member of the team, company co-founders hired him after stumbling across the music blog he'd been running on the side while finishing out his stint as a pilot in the Air Force. Having slipped into the music industry through the back door, Cameron has been able to help carve out a compelling space in the industry for VMP by running in the opposite direction of most of the industry -- offering less choice rather than more and asking people to trust recommendations from fellow humans rather than algorithms.
