Tim Shiel is a musician, radio broadcaster and co-founder of Spirit Level, an artist-run music label based in Melbourne. He is currently the host of Something More, a radio show devoted to experimental pop and future sounds, broadcast nationally each week on Double J and triple j.

Tim also works as a composer and sound director for games, best known for his soundtrack to the award-winning Australian mobile game Duet. He has been a core member of Gotye’s international touring line-up since 2011, and co-founded the independent label Spirit Level with Wally de Backer in 2014.
