Neil was manager of Scottish icons Belle & Sebastian, one of the biggest indie bands in the world, for 10 years. He was also a founder and co-curator of ‘The Bowlie Weekender’, the residential festival which became All Tomorrow’s Parties, as well as Managing Director of Banchory Merchandise, an online merch company.
In 2006, he moved to Australia, becoming Label Manager for V2/ Cooperative Music (later [PIAS]/ Liberator) and running his own label, Scotland Yard Records, signing Architecture In Helsinki and Laura Jean. In June 2016, he left to become Australian Head of A&R for e-commerce specialists Music Glue.
